Mortal Reins is an all new role-playing game set in the war ravaged world of Nuterra. Departing from the medieval themes of mainstream fantasy, Nuterra draws inspiration from the era of classical antiquity to serve as a backdrop to its players’ stories. Nuterra is a world of warring empires, class struggles, corruption, disease, disaster, and betrayal. It’s a land in ruins and for the players a constant challenge to survive.
As with most tabletop role-playing games, Mortal Reins is narratively driven, centering on dialogue between the players at the table to move the story along.

How do I start?
There are 2 types of players in a role-playing game. The game master, and the character players. The game master is responsible for crafting the overarching adventure and bringing the world to life. They decide upon the setting, themes, and scope of the adventure that the other players will act out. Additionally, the game master is in charge of crafting challenges and oppositions to the players and rewarding the players when those challenges are overcome. Once the game master has decided on the setting the players can begin making characters and discussing what it is that keeps those characters working together. This includes not only how they wound up together, but any shared goals the group may have, how they generally prefer to handle conflict, what skills would be most useful to the group, and any important allies and enemies the company may have made prior to the game’s start.
Sounds so fun! I can't wait to play
